Reports break in and theft of a number of Red Wing items

Hixton, Wis. - Glenn Miller, owner of Millers Antiques in Hixton, Wis., was robbed on Sunday Night 4-11- 10 or Monday Morning 4-12-10. The perpertrators stole at least 17 crocks and 2 early Coke Trays. 3- 5 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Salt Glaze Rib Cage Design Beehive Jug (chip on lower front and hairline in handle)
4- 3 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Elephant Ear Design Butter Churn
5- 12 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Elephant Ear Design Crock
6- 3 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Straight Side Black Birchleaf Design Ice Water Crock Cooler with Button Knob Cover
7- 15 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware (North Star) Salt Glaze Upturned Leaf Design Crock
8- 10 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Salt Glaze Butterfly Design Crock ( crow foot crack in back and slight glaze hairline in front)
9- 5 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Water Cooler With Original Cover
10- 10 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Salt Glaze Double Ribcage Design Crock (has glaze pitting all around the bottom about 6" up or so)
11- 3 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Wing Design Beehive Jug
12- 4 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Birchleaf Design Beehive Jug ( very dark stamping)
13- 2 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Zinc Glaze Brown Top Jug with 4" Red Wing ( in the making vertical glaze scrape in the front about 8" long)
14- 1/2 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Molded Center Seam Advertising Jug, Kummerow & Menge Fond Du Lac Wisconsin
15- 1 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware Beehive Wide Mouth Advertising Jug Menning & Slater Des Moines Iowa
16- Red Wing Stoneware Greyline Spongeband 5# Butter Pail, No Cover
17- 3 Gallon Unmarked Salt Glaze Stoneware Butter Churn attributed to JB Maxfield Milwaukee WI
18- 1916 Coca Cola Coke Tray "Elaine"
19- 1914 Coca Cola Coke Tray "Betty"

Some of these crocks have distinguishing marks that can be clearly identified. If someone tries to sell you some of these items, please take down their license plate number and call the police in your area.
