The 2009 Convention in Red Wing will mark the 33rd Convention. It is exciting to know that our organization continues to remain strong. This years theme is to share how you celebrate using your Red Wing Collection. Members are encourage to submit pictures of using their collections for family celebrations, holidays, special occasions, and everyday use. Please send your pictures to the RWCS Business Office at director@redwingcollectors.org

Registration forms have been included in RWCS Members February 2009 Newsletter. On line registration will be open by the end of February.

Auction Forms
In an effort to go green the Auction forms will be not be included in the February newsletter mailing. RWCS members who submitted pieces in 2008 will receive the form in one of the following ways:

Convention Schedule
There are a number of exciting changes occurring at the 2009 Convention.
- The Friday night picnic will be a pig roast in a new location. Watch for more information on all the exciting editions to this event!
- The Banquet will be held at the St. James Hotel Summit Room this year.
- For members interested in an opportunity to socialize on Saturday night, but not attend the banquet, we are planning a "So Long Mixer" in Jimmy’s Pub at the St. James Hotel.

Display
The 2009 Display room is now accepting contracts. Laura Beall, display chair, is looking for members interested in showing their collections at MidWinter. No display is to small to be entered to win a special commemorative for Best in Show, People’s Choice, or Rare Item. If you have question contact Laura Beall today at display@redwingcollectors.org.
