Question:
I found a jug under my porch that is 17 maybe 18 inches tall 35 inches round. The Red wing is 3 inches in long with all the lettering dark and has the cork with it. There are no cracks little worn on the bottom and something stuck to the side but don’t want to chip off however still in very good condition. The picture is right after I found it and have not cleaned it off yet. Heidi

We have a 25 gallon crock and know nothing about it. The 25 appears in the middle of a stamped medallion and there are no other markings that we have found on the crock. Stoneware Bowl or “Milk Pan”

I have a stoneware bowl and not sure of the maker. There are no marks on it. It measures 10 1/2" in diameter on the top and 5 1/2" diameter on the bottom. The bowll is gray. The bottom has dimples. The lip measures approx. 3/8" from bowl to edge. Carol

I have a red wing spongewar 8" bowl with this in the bottom of the bowl: compliments F.R. Brownell Montezuma, Iowa. He told me his grandfather had a store in that town and gave these to customers a a complimentary gift between 1928 and 1939. Wondering if you can tell me more about the production and distribution of this bowl. What the original price was and how much it is worth. It is in very good condition.
