The following positions up for election on the RWCS Board of Directors in 2018:  vice president, treasurer, historian, and two representatives at large positions. Each position serves a term of four years, which will begin during the 2018 Convention at the RWCS Annual Business Meeting on Friday, July 13.

Below is a brief decription of each position and a link to the full position decription.

Vice President – to assume the duties of the president if the president is unable to serve, be chairperson of the Nominating Committee, and Board liaison with the newsletter publisher.

Treasurer – to take charge of and disperse organization funds which are to be spent for and on behalf of the organization, and to present a financial report at the annual business meeting and for publication in the newsletter or on the RWCS website.

Historian – to collect and document information pertaining to the Society and to prepare and present a report at the annual business meeting pertaining to important information and findings of the past year.

Representative at Large – (two officer positions) shall represent all members, whether a member of an existing chapter or not.

The RWCS balloting will be done electronically in accordance with RWCS by-law Article V, Nominating Committee and Voting Procedure. Balloting  instructions will be e-mailed and appear in the April RWCS Newsletter. All members in good standing can refer to these instructions and login with their own membership number to vote. Votes must be recorded by June 30, 2018. RWCS members who do not have internet access can request a ballot by contacting the RWCS Business Office.
