I have a Red Wing vase numbered 1107 and believe it was produced for J.B Hudson stores. In years of collecting, I have not seen another like this. Attached is a photo, as well as a photo of the mark on the bottom. Can you confirm this piece was made originally for J.B. Hudson and give me an idea of the rarity of the piece and its value? Thanks. My wife and I enjoy collecting Red Wing and being members of the organization.

Answer: I think you assumption is correct.  Similiar to the Lother pieces, which is what I first thought when I saw it.  It is an unusual mark, but I don’t think it will bring a very high price, maybe around 90.00 or so.  thanks, steve n rose
