Question:
I’m curious about the piece pictured. It is a salt glazed, 3 gallon crock with a gray exterior, brown interior, and cobalt lettering. The underneath of the lip and molded handles have a brown speckle to them. It’s not in perfect condition, as there are a few chips on the lip and a very small crack on the back side (superficial – does not go through.) Any idea on if it is Red Wing, the age, and possible value? Thanks! Nathan

Answer: Nathan, your 3 gallon salt glazed crock is not Red Wing. It looks like it could be Ohio, but just not sure. No idea of value. Al Kohlman
