Question:
Hi, I have a 10 gal RW crock that has a round stamp rather than an oval stamp. I’ve never seen the round stamp. What does that indicate and does it effect the value? Thanks, Tim
Answer: Tim, I have seen these round ovals on stoneware pieces and they were made for the art pottery pieces. This also tells me that you have the small red wing on your 10 gallon crock and it was most likely produced between 1936 & 1947. Value in perfect condition is about the same as the other 10 gallon crocks. $125 to $150. Al Kohlman
