Answer: Bob, if the 30 gallon has a metal ring, that is a usual sign of a hairline or crack. Also to get the proper value the metal ring would need to be removed. If there is rust under the ring, that will kill the price and rust is very hard to impossible to remove. With all this being said, I wouldn’t go over $200 on this piece.
