I have a Red Wing crock but it looks a little different than any you have pictured. It has a 3 on it and then the name in a circle and then the wings. Is this authentic? Thanks! Jennifer

Answer: Jennifer, you have a 3 gallon Red Wing butter churn with a reversed oval. Another words, the red Wing should be under the number 3, then the oval under it. Also, the oval is the first oval Red Wing used and is called the ski oval (most collected oval). If your churn is in perfect condition the value (because it is reversed with the ski oval) could fetch anywhere between $300 to $400. Nice piece! Al Kohlman
