Question:
We have a red wing crock pot (approximately 100 years old) that was cracked in two during transport – how do you recommend we fix it? Dave
Answer: Dave, if the crock is together, I like to use Liquid Super glue (not the gel). Get as much of the super glue you can in the crack and apply a tourniquet. Leave set for 24 hours. After 24 hours, remove the tourniquet and use a razor blade scrapper to remove any excess super glue. Also, never wipe any of the super glue off while it is wet, or it will leave a white residue that is a bear to get off. Just let it run and dry. That razor blade scraper will remove it fairly easy. Good luck. Al Kohlman
