Question:
My grandmother has a small lidded jar with a swing handle that she thinks is Red Wing. It is probably 6-7 inches tall. There is a small chip in the lid (you can see it in the picture). The stamp on the bottom says Red Wing, but I can’t find any similar stamps in your pictures. Is this authentic? If so, is it worth anything? Thank you for your time. Monica

Answer: Monica, your grand mother has a Red Wing Grey Line (or sponge-band) butter pail. In mint condition her pail with lid would have a value around $400. With the chip in the lid, the value would be around $300. Nice piece of Red Wing. Al Kohlman
