Question:
I have a "6" butter churn with lid marked with the oval Union Stoneware Co., Red Wing, Minn. The churn body includes two handles. The churn body has some cracking at the bottom. Churn body includes two leafs or ears marking on the front. The churn lid is in very good to excellent condition. The wooden handle appears to be original. How old is it? How much is it worth? Thanks Bob
Answer: Bob, your Red Wing leaf churn was produced between 1895 & 1906. If the lid is original and in perfect condition, the value for it is around $100. The churn with it’s damage is around $75. Hope this is of some help. Al Kohlman
