Question:
I have a large crock container and lid. Lid has an indented crock handle, with what lookes like a round raised navel looking place on the inside with a 20 in the center. The crock is white inside and out (with some staining from use) On the outside of the container there is a blue Indian head imprint with 8 blue stars surrounding it, stars themselves are withing 2 stars. Crock is in great shape, lid has a 3 minot chips on inter lip ring. What do I have? I bought it when an old school was torn down. Is it a keeper? Debbie
Answer: Debbie, your crock is not Red Wing and I only collect Wisconsin and Red Wing stoneware, so I have no idea of it’s value or collection status. Al Kohlman
