Question:
I have two stoneware crocks…one has Crown 8 in blue markings…it is 17"x 12" excellent condition with original wooden press with wooden handle…the other is 11"by 10" with original wooden press and is in excellent condition…the markings are Crown Redwing Union Stonware crown 8 in blue writing…I have had them for 50 years and it is many years older than that.

Answer: I am confused by the words "Crown" as there is another stoneware company that produces crocks with a crown symbol on it, which is not related to Red Wing. If you could send me a photo of your two crocks, it would better help me answer your question. Thanks Al Kohlman
