Question:
I have just uncovered this in our old farmhouse. There appears to be no cracks or chips anywhere. I am missing the lid and spigot. It seems to be in mint condition except for the missing items About how much is it worth and about what year was it made. I don’t know much about these so any information is appreciated. Sorry about the quality of the photo.
Answer: Your 10 gallon Red Wing Ice Water was made between 1909 & 1915. With the six inch wing and reversed oval, you cooler could fetch $1500 to $2000. Very nice Ice Water. Most of us stoneware collectors would love to own such a beauty. Al Kohlman
