Question:
I have a Redwing crock that was my grandmother’s. It is a white glazed crock with a blue oval shape containing the words: RED WING, Union Stoneware Co., Red Wing, Minn. Above the oval, which is at the bottom, is a painted red wing. Above the wing is a large painted blue 5. Can you tell me the value of the crock, and the age? Thank you. Leslie
Answer: Leslie, I would like to see a photo of your Red Wing cooler. There are 3 sizes of Red Wings used on these water coolers and the size of the Red Wing along with the oval used is what tells me the age. Also, to see the marks and condition better helps me place a value on the piece. thanks Al Kohlman
