Question:
I have a 5 gallon double P salt glaze beehive jug. No chips, cracks and very clean. One small turkey dropping on the other side. Want to know if it is Red Wing? Also it has a kiss on the side with a peace of the jug that was attached to it. Does the kiss bring up the value or down? How much is the jug worth? Duane
Answer: Duane, your 5 gallon salt glaze jug is not Red Wing. Not being Red Wing, I just have no idea of its value. Also, a kiln burn does not add to a pieces value. In fact, it can hurt it if the burn can be seen when displayed. Al Kohlman
