Question:
I’ve seen several stoneware pieces at auctions described as Red Wing "milking crocks". I just bought one. It stands 1 foot tall not counting the 2 brass nozzles. It is 6 inches in diameter. White glaze. What is it and value please. I will try to attach pictures, if not successful send me an e-mail and I’ll respond. Thanks for your help? Is this shown in any Price Guide?

Answer: I see these milking type crocks at quite a few auctions and antique stores. I do not know for sure if they are Red Wing or Western. I have not seen them in the Red Wing books. With these milking crocks being quite plain, the values are quite low. $10 to $15. Al Kohlman
