Question:
I have a 2 gallon salt glazed crock,was told it is North Star It measures 9 1/8" tall 9 1/2" across top9 3/8" across bottom. Albany slip glazed inside ridges all the way up inside from hand thrown and a swirl finish not smooth on bottom inside like hand done not like my Red Wing salt glazed,which are smoother on bottom. Answer: Dana, I have never seen a North Star 2 gallon target crock. Not to say that North Star did not make them. I would put my money on either a Minnesota Stoneware or Red Wing Stoneware Company piece. Al Kohlman
