Question:
I have an old Red Wing Crock and there is one side that is completely broken. It’s about 10 1/2 tall and 10 round…I have the pieces that are broken on it, but I need to know what type of glue I can use or how I can repair it. It was just given to me at a yard sale for free actually. I hope this will be enough information for you to assist me. If not, please let me know what else you might need. Thank you, Kim

Answer: Kim if the pieces fit together nice and tight, I have found that liquid super glue works best. Apply the super glue, then a tourniquet around the crock for 24 hours. After 24 hours remove the tourniquet and use a razor blade to scrape off any excess glue. Al Kohlman
