I have a friend that purchased this piece at an estate sale. She asked me if I would have any idea what it is worth. I told her I would check with the RWCS as we are members. So please tell me anything you can about this piece. I am not sure if there are any chips, I don’t think so, but could find out the next time I see her. Answer: These Red Wing packing jars came in 3 & 5 gallon sizes. In mint condition with good markings (your friends jar’s marking is somewhat light so this will affect it’s value). With good markings and mint, $600 to $650. Your friends $450 to $500. These packing jars with their lids are tough to find. Al Kohlman
