Question:
I have a stoneware Red Wing, USA Bowl with a number two marking on the underside. It is beige with a wide rim. My Great Grandmother used it to make bread. It has a diameter of 12 6/8" and is approximately 6" deep. I would like some information on my bowl. Thank you.

Answer: Sounds like you have a Red Wing Milk Pan. These bowls came in brown, blue and white (beige). Red Wing has them listed in every one of their catalogs so this tells you that they were quite popular and they made a large number of them. Sizes range for 4 3/4" up to 15 1/2". In mint condition and bottom signed they have a value between $50 & $70. Not bottom signed $20 to $25. Al Kohlman
