Question:
I have a Red Wing Panel sponge bowl. Though it’s not marked Red Wing I believe it to be one. The measurements are: Outside dia:5 1/4",Inside dia:4 1/2", Height: 3 1/2", Base dia: 2 7/8". It has a blue and brown sponge pattern. Could you please tell me how many you believe exist and approx. how much it is worth? I’m sending some pictures to help you. Thank you for your time and expertise. Eric
Answer: Eric, you do indeed have a Red Wing sponge panel bowl. These 5" bowls were produce in the 1930′s. I would have no idea of how many were produced, Could be hundreds or thousands. The question is how many survived. Your bowl in mint condition has a value around $500. Nice bowl. Al Kohlman
