However I was slightly confused when you mentioned dating the piece by the oval which it does not have. I am curious so I am submitting a photo and would appreciate any additional info you may have. Answer: This is really a nice looking Red Wing Poultry Waterer. Even though you do not have the hardware for sealing the lid, having the base outweighs the hardware 20 times. If it were mine, I wouldn’t move from the $400 value. Very nice piece. Thanks so much for sharing. Al Kohlman
