Question:
Hi, i recently inherited what i believe is a red wing crock. it is a number 4 with 2 birch leaves. i have tried to do some research but everything i find shows the leaves in the opposite direction of mine. All of the ones i find have the stem on the left and mine goes to the right. It has no cracks and seems to be in very good shape, some minor chips. i am wondering if this is a real red wing and wondering on the age and value of it. Thanks for your time. Bryan
Answer: Bryan, your 4 gallon crock is most likely Red Wing even though the leaves have been turned on the front of the crock. With the chips, the value would be around $50 to $70. Al Kohlman
