Question:
I have had these Redwing pieces for quite some time, and was hoping you could give me an idea of what they are worth. The five gal jug has the small wing of course and is in great condition, no cracks or chips. I don’t believe I have ever seen another brown top in this variety. The churn is also in very nice shape and is bottom marked Minnesota Redwing Stoneware Co.
Answer: The 5 gallon brown top jugs with red wings are hard to come by especially with the 4 1/2 inch wing. In mint condition they run between $400 & $450 for the small wing. Your 2 gallon birch-leaf churn which is bottom marked in mint condition should fetch between $400 & $450. Al Kohlman
