I got this piece when my father passed away. I don;t know anything about the piece. My father would tell us to be careful around it but that it. Its a large number 6. Can you tell me about the piece where it came from, what it was used for, and if there is any value to the piece. enclosed is a picture of it. Any help would be great. thank you
Answer: Your father owned a Red Wing 6 gallon crock which was manufactured between 1915 & 1930. Value in mint condition and today’s market is between $75 & $100. Al Kohlman
