Question:
Hi, Three jugs here. Two of them I believe to be syrup jugs with different glazing. The brown one is two gallon with two seperate "lips" to pour from-front and side. Has some chips but no cracks. White beehive jug looks zinc glazed and in great condition. Small size, about 7 1/2 inches. The last 1 gallon jug has paper label from a Chicago company that sold Worchestershire Sauce. Never seen that label before, but I know paper labels are collectible. Any opinion on values? Thanks for your opinion.
Answer: The only photo I have hear is the brown top jug with the paper label. A serious collector will not trust a paper label, as a number of people have glued old paper labels to jugs and passed them off as old advertising pieces. With this being said, a jug with a paper label will most likely carry the same value as a jug with no paper label. Value $15 to $20. Al Kohlman
