Question:
This is a crock 15 in front with redwing emblem. A hole at the bottom and one at the side.I need to know what the hole at the side of this crock is for, the bottom is for a spout but never saw one at the top ike this. What was the crock used for and its worth. Thank you so much. Sandrea

 

Answer: Sandrea, your crock was most likely used at a chemical or dairy plant. The hole on the top side also had a spigot or metal tube coming out of it for overflow. In mint condition, your crock would have a value between $350 & $400 in today’s market. Al Kohlman
