Question:
I am trying to find out if there ever was salt glazed pottery ex: salt box or pitcher, that has a swastika on it that was considered Native American or was it only from Germany?? Thanks, Wanda

Answer: Yes there were both pitchers and salt boxes made with Swastika’s on them. The swastika (very common pattern) is known as an Indian good luck sign. The blue & white pitches (not Red Wing) have a book value of $200 to $250. Al Kohlman
