Question:
This lid came on a 5 gallon Red Wing water cooler. It has the number "4" carved in the pottery, plus "5W" painted on it. Is it Red Wing? What would the age and value be?
Answer: Your cooler lid does look to be Red Wing. However, the Western Stoneware Company made them as well. The value is around $350 to $400 in mint condition. Al Kohlman
