Hello, I found this Red Wing Canteen at a local store and was hopeing to learn some back ground on it and a value. It’s about 5 1/4" wide( including small handles) and about 5 1/2" Tall. The back is marked with blue stamp- RED WING STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MN. The front is stamped with a "red wing". The condition is really great, 3 marks on the front-Pin holes and a little discoloring on the back. Hope you can help with ,,,Thank you Sherri

Answer: Sherri, I really need to see the blue stamp on the other side of your canteen that says RED WING STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MN. The reason I say this is, I think your canteen is a reproduction and was manufactured by the new Red Wing Stoneware Company operating in Red Wing, MN currently.
