This a picture of the other crock. Do you think it was made in the same time period? It has a small crack on the side behind the ear running from top to bottom. There is still the wire I found it with wrapped around the neck to stop it from further damage I would guess. what would be it’s appoximate worth? thank you, Diane

Answer: Diane, your crock was made in the salt glaze period anywhere between 1867 & 1895. The decoration in very common plus the crack will hurt it’s value. Approximate value is $75 to $100. Al Kohlman
