I found a piece of stoneware at a thrift store. It is about a two gallon size. No handles etc. It has no markings on it at all. However, on the bottom. It is embossed (in a circle) Red Wing Pottery Minnesota. Is is possible for this to be a genuine piece of Red Wing Pottery? Thank you for your consideration.

Answer: Yes, your piece is Red Wing. I don’t know if it is a crock or what? If a crock, my guess would be a 1 gallon as many of these where produced without a wing. Al Kohlman
