Hello. I bought this yesterday on eBay. The seller said it may be Red Wing. I’ve never heard of Red Wing before yesterday, and I’m just curious about it. The advertising is for my great-grandfather’s dairy, so the personal value won’t change. There are chips around the top and the lid is missing. The picture of the bottom didn’t have any Red Wing markings, which is why the seller wasn’t sure about it. Answer: Your advertising bean pot is absolutely Red Wing. These Red Wing bean pots were introduced in the 1930′s and many businesses placed their advertising on them. The Advertising pieces where given to there valued customers during holidays, promotions and as premiums. Nice to own a little family history.
