Question:
hi, i have this set of red wing dinnerware, and i would like to get a rough idea if its worth, and time frame. the tea cups are all in great condition, as well as the suger cup and cream pitcher. the two bowls both have a small chip on the edge and one has a small one inch crack running from the lip to the middle of the bowl. all the plates are in great condition, one has a small chip on the edge like the bowls. all of the art work is in great condition. the bowls and all the plates production numbers are 537. i have more detailed pictures if it would help you. just let me know, thanks.

Answer:

The name of this pattern is Bob White. Bob White was produced from 1954 to 1967 and was Red Wing’s most successful dinnerware pattern. Although Bob White remains very popular with collectors today, common pieces like yours do not have a high value because so many were made and remain available today. Damaged pieces will have very little value.
Approximate values for pieces in excellent condition are as follows:
Cup (without a saucer): $5
Sugar bowl with cover: $15-20
Creamer: $15-20
Salad/Cereal bowl: $10
Dinner plate: $15
Chips, cracks or other damage will reduce the value of any of these pieces to a dollar or two.
