Question:
I have 2 Redwing vases, Both are the same color,The first is shaped like a gingerJar 9 1/2inchs tall, (No Lid) The pot is tan with green over, tan showing through. It is 9 1/2" tall,The design looks like Apple Blossoms. the other is 8" tall the top is 4 1/2 accross. The desigh is a 3 1/2 inch band 1 1/2 from top 3 inchs wide. There are Cat-tails and Birds that look like two Ostrichs. I do know that they are at least 70 years old as my friends bought them on thier Honeymoon is 1938. you have two vases from the brushed ware line, early Red Wing art pottery. Your dates are correct. Think the first one may be shape # 133, the second, with the Heron’s is # 144. Both came in 3 sizes.
