Question:
i have a piece of red wing potery, height 12" diameter 6 1/2" thickness approx 1/2 + color glaze inside of green, outside beige & green. A decorative band of 3 1/2 " around top of I think egrets, leaves and possibility a pond. the design stands out in a matte finish of beige and background in green. it has stripes of beige over and below the band and another band approx. 1" around top. It has been broken before but glued together. If you can give me any info it will be appreciated. Thanks, Ida
Answer: this is shape 144, from circa 1930. Red Wing Brushware. This is also the largest size of the "heron" vase, there were 3 sizes. A value of 150.00 or so, it’s a nice vase. Thank you Rose and Steve
