Question:
I have 3 pottery pieces that I cannot ID. 1) A small (4.5” HIGH) LIGHT BLUE vase with a flower embossed in the middle. 1/2 MOON RESTING ON 4 FEET/FOOTED No markings. THE FOOTED BOTTOMS ARE UNGLAZED AND SHOW A LIGHT,CREAM COLORED CLAY 2) AN 11” high decanter MARKED ON BOTTOM WITH THE # 162 INCISED/ENDENTED. THE BOTTOM IS GLAZED, EXCEPT FOR THE OUTER BASE RING. ALSO, IT HAS A ball shaped/corklined ceramic stopper (not shown) 3) A 5” high, very heavy glazed SWAN PLANTER marked – U.S.A. incised on the bottom, plus other markings that cannot be read due to the glaze thickness. THE BOTTOM HAS A UNGLAZED BASE RING. THE CENTER OF THE BOTTOM IS GLAZED.

Answer: I think the swan may be a Gonder item, you have me stumped on the other two. thanks, steve n rose
