Question:
Hello! I own a blue vase/urn with double handles, flower criss cross pattern and band around the middle of the vase/urn. On the blue glaze there is a white speckled pattern throughout. On the bottom it says RedWing with the #748. Do you know an approximate value, what it was used for, and date of creation? I apologize for the lack of pictures as I do not have a camera to upload images of this vase/urn. Thank you for your time! Anna Mae

Answer: Hi Anna Mae, your vase is from the late thirties, and was made for holding flowers. Think the glaze would be Dutch Blue, popular with collectors today. Value is around 65-70. Thanks for the good description, that always helps. steve n rose
