Question:
I bought this statue at a local thrift store last week. It has a Red Wing crock he’s holding up on his shoulder. I believe this is some type of commemorative item, but I don’t know for sure. It’s dated 1984 on the base of the crock and has a number "67" on the base of the crock also. There are no other markings, unless the statue is marked under it’s base. If so, I can’t look at the bottom of it’s base, because it’s mounted on a wooden base. The statue measures 16 1/2" tall. I would really love to find something out about this. Thanks in advance.

Answer: Artists in the Park made some of these a few years back, Because the statue is numbered it was probably a limited edition. I do not know what they originally sold for and we have not seen them on after market. Artists in the Park would probably have better information for you.
