Question: Hi Al, I recently saw this 3 gallon Ice Water cooler and I’m considering buying it for my collection. I haven’t really been able to find anything on it. Can you tell me the when it was produced and what you think the value would be? I’ve attached a photo for reference. It does have a crack in the bottom. Sincerely, Ted
Answer: Ted, this 3 gallon straight sided Red Wing Ice Water was produced by the Minnesota Stoneware Company sometime between 1895 & 1906 or so. With the crack in the bottom the value would be somewhere between $350 & $550 all depending on how severe the crack. Al Kohlman
