Question:
Hello. My father-in-law passed away recently and he had several crocks among a large collection of antiques. I, nor my husband, have any idea of what we have. Below are descriptions of the crocks I have questions about, and I have attached pictures of both. writing on one says Union Stoneware Co., Redwing, Minn, #20 in blue with a set of four leaves on the crock, no lid writing on second one says Union Stoneware, Redwing, Minn, #8 on the crock, Patented December 21st, 1915, with red marking, handles, no lid any information you can give me would be appreciated. Pat

Answer: Pat, your 20 gallon Red Wing crock with the four birchleaves in perfect condition has a value between $200 & $225. Your 8 gallon Red Wing in perfect condition has a value between $80 & $125. Any damage and the value will drop greatly. Al Kohlman
