Question:
I accquired a crock—bottom says minnesota stoneware company–redwing—– I think it is a 2 quart crock. What is its value/worth or can you tell me about this crock?? Is it considered a redwing or the company before redwing. My husband i collect red wing crocks, but have never found one this size. what year would it have been made? thanks. kathy
Answer: Kathy, without seeing a photo of your crock and going by your description, I would guess you have a Minnesota Stoneware Company butter crock. Your butter crock would have been produced between 1895 & 1906. Value with no decoration or advertising, but bottom signed is between $35 & $45. Al Kohlman
