I have 2 5 gallon red wing crocks (funnel top with handle) one has a large wing and the other has a much smaller wing…..does the wing size indicate age? Ilona
Answer: Ilona, you have two 5 gallon Red Wing shoulder jugs. An yes, the size of the wings tells me that these jugs were produced in two different time periods. The large wing is between 1909 & 1930. The smaller wing between 1930 & 1947. Al Kohlman
