Question:
I recently picked up an old pottery jug and I was wondering how old it might be, any history on who may have made it and value as well. It stands about 16 inches tall and the only marking I can find on it is a big blue 2 (I assume 2 gallon jug). The other interesting thing is that the inside appears to maybe be lined with metal? I sent a picture of the outside and one to try and show the inside. Curtis
Answer: Curtis, your jug is not Red Wing nor is it a Wisconsin piece. Knowing this, I just have no idea of who produced it, age or value. Al Kohlman
