Question:
Hi, i have a red wing pitcher, that is six and one quarter in. tall and has compliments of Farmers Co-op creamery ass’n Hull Iowa prented on the inside bottom. it aslo has a 3 in. hair line crack in the side as seen in pic.I would like to know value and best means to sell. thanks, marlene
Answer: Marlene, the hairline in your Red Wing pitcher just kills its value as collectors like mint pieces. If it were perfect, you would be looking at $1000 give or take a few $100. With the hairline, $100 to $300. I think the best area to sell it would be eBay. Do yourself a favor and start it low. You will get more bidders and hopefully you will get two to three collectors that will get caught up in the auction and bring you a higher value. If you start this high, you chances of getting even a bid may be rare. Al Kohlman
