Hi, i have this crock. It says UNION Stoneware CO. Redwing, MN in the oval. I was wondering what date it was made and what is the value of it now? It has a a chunk on the lip that is broken off. I bought it at a thrift store for $35. Thank you! Lisa
Answer: Lisa, your 10 gallon Minnesota Stoneware Company birch leaf crock was produced between 1895 & 1906. The chunk that is broken off of the rim is a big deal to collectors as they like prefect pieces. I would say that the price of $35 is about what it is worth. Al Kohlman
