Question:
Hello Al, We recently picked up a 10 gallon crock, which we were told was an early Red Wing piece. It has a crack to the right of the decoration and a small spider crack on the back. We would greatly appreciate any information and value you can give us. Thanks Kim and Adam

Answer: The crock was made by the Red Wing stoneware company in the late 1800.   It has a very nice butterfly decoration, but the damage will decrease its value. An estimated value would be between $600-$700.
