Question:
I have a 6 1/2" Red Wing advertising Pitcher. Front marked "N. Frudden & Son Lumbermen since 1889, Nora Springs, Iowa". Bottom marked "Red Wing Saffron Ware". There is a little ware on the spout, and 2 hair line cracks which measure less than 1" long. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of when this was made and an approximate value. Thanks Sara
Answer: Sara, Red Wing Saffron ware was produced in the 1930′s. Value with the hairlines and spout wear, the value would be between $150 & $200, Al Kohlman
